| Types of courses accepted for CE Credit: Classroom Courses Self-Study Courses Online Courses Instructors may receive the same amount of credit hours as the students. |
| Final Exam: Self-study examinations must be proctored by an approved disinterested third-party and graded by the course provider. The proctoring process must ensure that the examination will be completed by the student, on a closed-book basis without assistance, and that the specified conditions of administration are observed. The monitor cannot be a family member, nor can it be someone who has a financial interest. Specific Monitor Affidavit Needed. |

| LONG TERM CARE REQUIREMENT: 8 hours initial LTC, 4 hours LTC every 24 months following. Initial compliance by 7/01/2010. |
| Carryover Requirements: Up to 6 credit hours may be carried over to the next compliance period. |
| Course Repetition: Credit will not be given for a course that is repeated within a compliance period. |
| Exemptions: Individuals holding any limited or restricted license that the commissioner may declare exempt. Adjusters. Non-residents who CE requirements are satisfied and current in home state. |
